The last lighthouse to be built in Western Australia, this unique structure was built using specially constructed bricks. The main beacon is visible from 25 nautical miles out to sea. The height of the beacon is 73 metres above sea level.

"Lighthouse Trail"
Enjoy the high aspect of this walk trail which gives you panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. You will pass the Guilderton Lighthouse built in 1983, the last lighthouse ever built is Western Australia. At 30 metres high and 77 metre above sea level it is the only major navigation light between Fremantle and Jurien Bay. It still guides ships today as they navigate through these treacherous waters. Clusters of wildflowers such as native wisteria, coastal daisy and pigface can be seen in season.
Keep an eye out for Echidnas, Roos, and Emus foraging in the area.
